This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
sorry for the previous comment this one is better:
wow. I see why people leave DA. when drama comes around they hump it like a rabid dog. it's disgusting. many of these people who were older than me at the time, were all ripping to shreds the dignity of this little 15 year girl I use to be. If anyone can relate to this former fifteen year old girl who was just grasping at the little she knew about her heritage. All around her was Asian pride and people knowing where their grandparents came from while my history was shrouded by the fog of slavery in America and family issues. My mother knows her history and I am proud that she did and she shared it with me. Im a mutt, mixed and proud. I am a American, and Im proud of my values. I am black, and I love that too.
I am.. very confused. XD Didn't check deviant for a while so i'm lost. BUT! let's hit it:
For what's worth I just read jamican and caught my eye. I was born and raised in Dominican Republic which is pretty close, so it got me interested on it. It's an awesome culture and lots of my friends are jamaicans (or jamaiquinos, o jamicans ). Nice that you feel proud of it and your values. As long it makes you feel good, it's great . Tho I'm a bit different, I come from a place where nobody can claim not to be mixed, so I tend to be more proud (or respect more) skills or character (or coolness). (Tho when I moved to japan a place, with no beaches or the tropican warness, I suddenly got all proud of my little broken island country )
to explain the "jamican" thing it was way late at night during the summer before i went into high school and i finally decided to make a DA account for myself. the process was so-so and i was very tired.so i spelled "jamican" and didn't care to fix it .i can't fix it, don't want to fix it because it's my history its a done deal and i can live with it.i don't sweat the little details.
